Microwave World
So many things are instant today. Instant food, instant coffee. If we don't get it in 3 mintues we've waited too long and will move on. Study's have shown it!
I've talked before about having 3 mintues to wash your face in the mornings. I know for myself it's a challenge some mornings.
I also find it a challenge sometimes to spend 3 mintues in the Word. Seriously, if we are that busy that we can't do 3 mintues with God a day, wow somethings out of balance.
This whole topic came about as our microwave (which is not that old!) died yesterday. Thankfully it was after I made the rice! When you become part of the microwave world it's really hard to go back to what life was like before having one.
Let's put things into perspective. There were days where there was no microwaves, no running water, no electicity, no PC's or MAC's.
My youngest son's biggest stress right now is whether the toilet flushes on it's own or not!!!! We do not know hard times. Perhaps you've heard people say "the good old days" ?
Wow. I'm humbled and will not complain that I don't have a microwave. I have so much. I am blessed.
Bringing Perspective to an Microwave World,
Alanne.
