Be Prepared?
The Bible talks about being prepared in and out of season to preach the Word or to share the hope we have in Christ.
I'm thinking we should just be prepared for pretty much anything, anytime. It's great to surprize or to be surprized but some things we should be prepared for and give thought to.
My husband is amazing at thinking ahead and preparing every possible angle. I walk with my head up looking at the beautiful sky and wonder why I walk into stuff! Seriously I've done that once. I was little! :) All that to say that Kevin has really taught me a lot in this area of thinking ahead.
I was caught off guard the other day with an interesting personal question. I do agree with Alan Alda (from M*A*S*H) when he said somethings are personal and something things are private. As he, I'm ok to share personal things not private things. That being said I also need to prepare myself to not talk.
I like to have a few "lines" ready that I can use in different situations. I really could have used the line, "Why do you ask?" the other day.
Do you have lines that you have ready? Or how do you prepare yourself for interesting situations that come up.
Would love to hear your lines or advice.
Blessings,
Alanne.
