Leading Our Mind
Motivational speakers are talking about the power of the mind. David in Psalm 62 knew about this and teaches us that we are to lead our mind rather than follow it.
David wrote this Psalm and starts by saying,
1 My soul finds rest in God alone;
my salvation comes from him.
2 He alone is my rock and my salvation;
he is my fortress, I will never be shaken.
In verses 5 to 7 he tells his soul what to do and reminds himself of the truth.
5 Find rest, O my soul, in God alone;
my hope comes from him.
6 He alone is my rock and my salvation;
he is my fortress, I will not be shaken.
7 My salvation and my honor depend on God;
he is my mighty rock, my refuge.
Put your hope in God. Ask God what His purpose for your life is and the lead your mind to fulfill that purpose. It will be an amazing race.
Bless you today.
