Foundational Things
Once we're saved there are foundational things that God has laid out for us to do.
We don't need to wait and we shouldn't.
Mark 16:15 He said to them, 'Go into all the world and preach the good news to all creation.'
Matthew 28:19-20 'Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.'
Question. If someone sees your life, does it attract them to want to be your disciple?
We can't expect to do more if we are not doing the foundational things.
Here's what is said if we don't do the work that He has laid out. Jeremiah 48:10a 'A curse on him who is lax in doing the LORD's work!'
Luke 12:47-48 (The Message) 'The servant who knows what his master wants and ignores it, or insolently does whatever he pleases, will be thoroughly thrashed. But if he does a poor job through ignorance, he'll get off with a slap on the hand. Great gifts mean great responsibilities; greater gifts, greater responsibilities!'
I'm challenged. Encouraged. Motivated.
Blessings as you obey even if you don't hear His voice at the moment.
Alanne.
