Back on Track

Hi Ladies,

I'm back in the "running". How's the "race"? I was out for a necessary pitstop with my mom's surgery but I'm back. It's hard to get back in routine when you're out of it for a while!

I said I would give you an update about our amazing summer. So just briefly,

We went to Nanaimo and stayed at my sister's place. It was so great to be back on the West Coast. Man do I miss the ocean and the mountains. I am truly thankful to have family there. We relaxed and saw a few friends. For those we missed, we would have loved to see you but needed the down time!

After that we were off to a family camp near Edmonton. Moose Lake Camp. It was truly amazing. I was so incredibly blessed to support Kevin in leading worship and God had plans for me to minister as well. We saw the unity of cultures and ages, the Holy Spirit fell on the young children, and Levi and Gabe were baptized in the Holy Spirit. It was more than I could have asked for. The Holy Spirit has given them the tools they need (when they tap in!!) to face what they need to face everyday. They are different kids.

Kevin led worship to a very wide group of ages that as you know is not an easy task. He led boldly into the throne room of grace and was highly favored by everyone.

God used me to minister to the youth leaders. What an amazing group of leaders. I am honored to have met them.

The speakers were amazing men of God. One was from New Jersey. Can you hear him say How YOU doin'? Loved it!

The other was Ken Solbreken, the he son of evangelist Max Solbreken who was highly influencial to my parents. It was such a delight to work with him and his team. He spoke the truth of the Word in a loving, humorous, served straight up, way. He spoke words of knowledge over Kevin and I and prophesied into our lives.
I am a straight up, not hugely emotional person.I am very skeptical about what happens in "pentecostal" like churches because there is a lot of crap out there. I don't do phony stuff. It's a waste of my time. But when it comes from someone who is in the Word and it lines up with the Word, it's good.

If you have questions about what I just shared be sure to talk to someone you trust who is in the Word and is in tune with the Father.

What's up for today? Lots. God is so amazing. He carried me through some tough stuff over the last 2 months. I have had many people say to me I don't know how you are doing it. I didn't do it on my own.

Psalm 91:14-15 " Because he loves me," says the Lord, "I will rescue him; I will protect him, for he acknowleges my name. He will call upon me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble, I will deliver him and honor him...."

That's what God says about me, about you. So I want to leave his scripture with you.
John 12: 26 " Whoever serves me must follow me; and where I am, my servant also will be. My Father will honor the one who serves me. "

Are you following Him? Are you where He is?

Praying your heart will be challenged today.

Alanne.
